Cost: Covers the introductory session and follow ups and materials for 1 year. The fee is paid when scheduling the first follow up.
This group session is the starting point for everyone wanting to learn the Creighton Model FertilityCare System. It teaches the science of monitoring signs of fertility and how to chart them. Individual follow up sessions are crucial to true learning of the system. They allow the system to be tailored to each person's situation, and help clients quickly gain confidence in their charting abilities. Those who wish to continue after the introductory session will schedule follow ups, typically 8 in the first year.
The Creighton Model can be used by couples to achieve or avoid a pregnancy, even in special situations like irregular cycles, breastfeeding or post-pregnancy, pre-menopause, or transitioning away from hormonal contraceptives. It is also a valuable diagnostic tool for women experiencing reproductive health issues and is used in conjunction with NaProTechnology to treat problems including premenstrual syndrome (PMS), postpartum depression, polycystic ovarian disease, endometriosis, repetitive miscarriage, and infertility.
